Originally from Taranaki in 2014 decided to make the move to Auckland for new experiences..
Before becoming interested in the gym I was involved in Surf Life Saving for a number of years. During my time in SLS I specialized and was coached in Sprints and flags. I gained knowledge of the techniques and skills used and began coaching Jr Surf life Saving.
Admittedly I originally joined the gym so on rainy days I could still have somewhere to run. However once I started going to the gym and seeing all the equipment I became more interested and branched out to try the weights and machines. I then began to love testing out new workouts and discovering what worked for me.
In 2015 I studied at AUT to gain my certificate in Fitness instruction as well as my certificate in personal training.
A year after gaining my certificate in personal training and fitness instruction I began my journey working at my first gym personal training position where I came to realize being a personal trainer is the most enjoyable and rewarding job for me.
My Main focus as a trainer is to help guide, motivate and direct you along the journey to reach your health and fitness goals.
I have a strong understanding that one type of training doesn't work for everyone and its all about finding what works for you to fit your goals, lifestyle and any other factors that may have been previously affecting you in not making this area of your life a priority.
Together we will develop a personalized program and a plan that will work (as long as you do) to achieve the goals you set and I will be there all the way to help support, encourage and keep you on track.
